Crowns gym 'packs a punch' in what has become a competitive fitness market in Beckenham/Penge. I signed up the first week it opened and I'm already 'hooked'.  I loved the Muay Thai / women's self defence class - a total 'knockout' (not literally, all perfectly safe). The yin yoga/sound bath was epic too - I was 'out for the count' by the end. If you want to get fighting fit, the trainers are all in your corner, making every session challenging but fun. I’ve trained at a lot of gyms over the years, but nothing — and I mean nothing — comes close to Crowns Gym in Beckenham. From the moment you walk through the doors, you realise this isn’t just a gym… it’s a community, a sanctuary, and a space built with real passion. The gym itself is spotless, the equipment is everything you could ever need (and then some), and the atmosphere is second to none. But what truly sets Crowns apart are the people. Clide, Vanya, and Billy deserve a special mention — their energy, knowledge, and warmth are simply outstanding. But honestly, everyone who works there is incredible. You’d need to print out the full staff list to give credit where it’s due — even the cleaning lady is wonderful! Their communication is on point, and their hospitality is unreal. I remember chatting with my wife before joining, wondering if everything they promised was too good to be true. Spoiler alert: it’s not only true, it exceeds expectations in every possible way. Love how close this gym is to my office – it’s perfect for a quick workout. The gym is clean, the equipment’s solid, and it’s never too busy, which is a big plus. The classes look really fun too! There’s a great mix, and the energy seems awesome. Definitely planning to book myself in for a few soon. This gym is brilliant, it’s got everything you need under one roof as a fighter. They have a mix of classes from MMA to Yoga and mobility sessions, the main gym floor and all the different rooms for recovery on your rest days! Fully recommend!

I recently joined this new gym and have been genuinely impressed. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into how it’s been thoughtfully designed — the space is modern, stylish, and super welcoming. The lighting and music create an energizing but comfortable vibe that really sets the tone. The classes are a standout, with great variety and motivating instructors. The range of classes at this gym is brilliant. And the instructors are expert, and super-friendly. Crowns is brand new. It looks really stylish and contemporary, no expense has been spared and the facilities are top class. E.g. infra red light bed, and the ice plunge bath. Had an awesome workout at Crown's Gym.  I attended the Barbell Pump class which was a fantastic full body workout.  The class was taken by Clide who was full of positivity and good humour!  After the class I tried the red light therapy bed which was a great way to relax and invigorate myself after the class.  Looking forward to the next workout and deciding which of the many classes to go for! I thoroughly recommend this gym.
